
The Shift2DC team will be part of the Técnico Open Day 2026 on April 18th at the Alameda Campus in Lisbon.
As part of the INESC-ID stand at the Science Fair, the project team – Guilherme Pereira, Miguel Velo, Manuel Neto, Nicollas Nogueira, and Larissa Montefusco – will present the activity “Como tornar os portos mais sustentáveis!” (How to make ports more sustainable) to showcase the innovative direct current (DC) solutions being implemented to electrify the Port of Funchal (Madeira). The goal? To make the Funchal Port more efficient and environmentally friendly.
