Shift2DC to Showcase at Enlit 2024: Join us at the EU projects Zone

Between October 22 and 24, the Shift2DC Horizon Europe project will be part of ENLIT 2024 in Milan, Italy. Enlit is one of the most significant events in the energy sector, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers from around the world.

Visitors will be able to meet the project team at the INESC ID stand in the EU Projects Zone (nº 6.E10) and learn more about the project on October 23rd (9am-10am) at the Session “Grid Tecchnologies”.

  • Shift2DC at Session “Grid Technologies”:

On October 23rd, the project coordinator at INESC ID and Associate Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon), Hugo Morais, will be part of the session “Grid Technologies” focused on technologies that will enable RES integration into the grid, but also microgrids like islands. Projects participating in the discussion include WILLOW, SUBLIME and FILSUN.

The session will take place between 09:00 and 10:00 at the EU Projects Zone Hub – Theatre 2 (Hall 6). More about the session here.

  • Meet us at INESC ID booth (nº 6.E10) – EU Project Zone:

Shift2DC will be one of three projects showcased at INESC ID booth (nº 6.E10) along with two other Horizon Europe projects led by the Portuguese R&D Institute. Shift2DC will be represented by INESC ID Project Manager, Ana Rita Nunes and researcher Pedro Costa. The Project Coordinator, Hugo Morais, will attend the event on October 22 and 23.

Why Visit Us?

Whether you’re an industry expert, policymaker, or enthusiast of electric mobility, the INESC ID booth at Enlit 2024 will be an opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about the broader work being developed by our R&D Institute in the field of Energy Transition and Shift2DC latest developments, featuring:

  • Collaborative Research: Explore opportunities for collaboration and partnership with research institutions, industry stakeholders, and policymakers involved in the Shift2DC project.
  • Application of DC in diverse energy scenarios: the SHIFT2DC project will implement a top-down, application-agnostic approach to design, simulate, test, validate, and apply DC solutions at both medium (MV) and low voltage (LV) levels.
  • Know more about our four demonstrators: installed in three European countries two across Germany (Datacenter and Industry), one in France (Building), and one in Portugal (Port) the project will test medium voltage DC (MVDC) and Low Voltage DC (LVDC) solutions.

Visit us at the INESC ID stand and discover how Shift2DC is revolutionizing the way we use electricity through DC solutions!
