Shift2DC at CPE-PowerEng Conference in Turkey

The Power Electronics Group (PEG) of TalTech, a Shift2DC partner Institution and the sole technological university in Estonia, attended the CPEPowerEng 19th International Conference on Compatibility, Power Electronics and Power Engineering (May 20-22, 2025) in Antalya, Turkey, where they had the opportunity to present the project.

Taltech Ph.D. student Salman Khan and Dr. Sachin Chauhan presented their recent research work, one of outcomes of SHIFT2DC project, on the FlexiVerter concept, including very high voltage gain dc-dc converters and soft-start strategies for integrating PV converters into dc microgrids.

The paper titled “Startup Implementation in Universal Power Electronics Interface with Dual-Standard Output for DC Microgrid Applications” was authored by Sachin Chauhan, Salman Khan, Andrii Chub, Dmitri Vinnikov, Bernd Wunder, Freddy Flores-Bahamonde.

CPE-POWERENG is a flagship conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) devoted to the dissemination of new ideas, research and work in progress within the fields of power electronics, renewable energy integration, power generation, transmission and distribution, power systems, electromechanical energy conversion, automation and EMC/EMI issues.
