Founded in 1918, TalTech is the sole technological university in Estonia. TalTech is a university that relies on academic competencies and professional management, responds actively to the needs of the rapidly developing society, and is involved in tackling the challenges of the digital era.
It is also the most international university in Estonia. TalTech is a research-based university offering Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees in engineering, natural sciences, IT, business and maritime studies.
Creators of digital innovations, Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) is leading Estonia and the world towards a sustainable digital future with confidence. As a leader in science, technology, and innovation, the school maintains constant interaction with universities around the world, bringing together scientists, students, and entrepreneurs. Of the nearly 10,000 enrolled students, approximately 11% come from more than 100 different countries across the globe.
We take entrepreneurship to the next level. We are the first point of contact for companies and government agencies to conduct research. In its teaching, TalTech is based primarily on the needs of the Estonian society and economy, thereby continuously generating benefits and adding value to Estonia.
TalTech supports companies in organizational and product development. Our Innovation and Business Centre Mektory brings together researchers, students, and entrepreneurs. Young people get inspiration, knowledge, and resources to establish and develop student start-ups.
